Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [22nd June 2026]

Atlas & Chilli provides environmental sustainability and climate-related information (hereafter referred to as ‘sustainability’), advisory services, and resources designed to support organisations in building clarity, capability, and resilience. By using this website or engaging with any Atlas & Chilli services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Who We Are

Atlas & Chilli is an advisory and knowledge-sharing practice based in the United Kingdom. All services and content are provided in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

2. Use of This Website

All content on this website is for general information only. It is not legal, financial, or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for how you interpret and apply any information you access here. You agree not to copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

3. Advisory Nature of Services

Atlas & Chilli provides professional sustainability advisory services for the built environment. This includes 1:1 sessions and digital products designed to support decision making, internal capability, and organisational progress. All advice, tools, and products are provided for general guidance and professional use. They do not constitute legal, financial, or technical engineering advice, and clients remain responsible for decisions made within their own organisation. Sustainability performance, climate risk outcomes, and organisational change are influenced by many external factors — including environmental variability, regulatory shifts, and market conditions.

Therefore:

  • No outcome, impact, or future scenario can be guaranteed.

  • Atlas & Chilli is not liable if real world events differ from projections, scenarios, or examples discussed.

  • Atlas & Chilli accepts no responsibility for implementation outcomes or any consequences arising from the use of its guidance, tools, or products.

Digital products are supplied for individual business use and must not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

4. Professional Conduct & Respect

Atlas & Chilli is committed to creating a respectful, safe, and constructive environment.

You agree that:

  • All communication — including emails, and 1:1 sessions — must remain professional and non-derogatory.

  • Abusive, hostile, or disrespectful behaviour will result in services being paused or terminated. In these circumstances, no refunds will be issued, including for any portion of the service that has not yet been completed.

5. 1:1 sessions

1:1 sessions are collaborative spaces for exploration, clarity, and strategic thinking. The guidance provided is based on the information available at the time of the session. If relevant details are not shared or if new information emerges afterwards, the guidance may no longer be accurate or applicable. They are not therapy, crisis support, or legal advice. You remain responsible for the decisions you make following any session. Atlas & Chilli is not liable for any loss, action, or outcome arising from how you choose to use the insights shared.

6. Professional Indemnity Insurance

Atlas & Chilli maintains appropriate professional indemnity insurance for the advisory services it provides. Details can be supplied upon request.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Atlas & Chilli is not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses.

  • Atlas & Chilli provides advisory services with reasonable skill and care. Decisions and actions taken within your organisation remain your responsibility, including how any guidance is interpreted or implemented. Atlas & Chilli is not liable for outcomes that arise from factors outside its control or from how advice is applied in practice.

  • All content is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy or completeness.

8. External Links

This website may link to third-party sites. Atlas & Chilli is not responsible for their content or policies.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the site indicates acceptance of any changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Feedback and Complaints

Atlas & Chilli is committed to delivering work with clarity, integrity, and professional care. If you have feedback or concerns about any aspect of our service, you are encouraged to raise these directly so they can be addressed promptly and constructively. You may submit feedback or a formal complaint using our feedback form. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to provide a full written response within 20 working days after reviewing the matter in detail. If further time is required due to the complexity of the issue, you will be kept informed. As an independent consultancy operating within an evolving sustainability landscape, all concerns are managed internally. If you remain dissatisfied after our response, you may request a further internal review. Once this review is complete, the internal complaints process will be considered closed. This procedure does not affect your statutory rights, nor your ability to seek independent advice or pursue remedies available under UK law. Professional indemnity insurance is in place to cover the business in the unlikely event of a claim relating to professional negligence.

12. Regulated Topics

Atlas & Chilli provides strategic sustainability consultancy. Most aspects of this work are not subject to statutory regulation. However, certain related areas — for example, financial services topics regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), or schemes such as ESOS regulated by the Environment Agency (EA) — may fall under specific regulatory frameworks. Where a piece of work touches on a regulated area, this will be clearly identified, and any advice provided will be limited to general guidance. Atlas & Chilli does not provide regulated financial advice or act as a regulated entity. Clients remain responsible for obtaining any regulated or profession specific advice outside the scope of Atlas & Chilli’s sustainability related technical expertise, such as legal, financial, or statutory compliance advice
