Hi! I’m Anna Ellis, the founder of Atlas & Chilli Ltd — a sustainability and climate resilience professional with many years of experience across Real Estate, Retail, Rail, Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, and other sectors. I’ve worked with organisations such as MBDA, The Crown Estate, Jacobs, HS2, HIAL, Airbus, and the Ministry of Defence, giving me a clear view of how different sectors think, operate, and make decisions.

I came to environmental sustainability later in my career, supported by studies in Earth Sciences, Environmental Management, Systems Thinking, Innovation and Development Management, and Managing for Sustainability. That mix of learning and hands‑on delivery has shaped the practical, grounded way I work today.

I’m approachable, practical, and rooted in delivered experience. My work has included developing strategies and roadmaps, stakeholder mapping, reporting, delivery plans, climate risk assessments, climate scenario projections, adaptation planning, Net Zero implementation, and integration with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 — alongside a range of successful sustainability initiatives across complex organisations.

After years in consultancy and in‑house roles, I’ve seen first‑hand how overwhelming and all‑consuming sustainability work can become — even for the most committed teams. Reporting, data, frameworks, shifting expectations… it can take over. That’s one of the reasons I founded Atlas & Chilli: to offer direct, friendly, cost‑effective, and genuinely useful support to people who want to do sustainability well, without drowning in complexity.

My hope for Atlas & Chilli is to create a space for honest, helpful conversations that bring clarity — and ultimately help people deliver meaningful, confident action.
